Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site or Field Service role for a Diesel Mechanic at CASE Victoria, based in Dandenong VIC. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and heavy equipment. Daily tasks include performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and replacing or repairing components. The role also involves ensuring machinery and equipment are maintained to meet safety and performance standards.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Diesel Mechanics and Heavy Equipment maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and repairing related systems.
* Skills in Vehicle Maintenance and Equipment Maintenance, including routine checks and mechanical repairs.
* Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance processes to ensure the longevity and performance of machinery and vehicles.
* Strong problem‐solving skills and attention to detail in identifying and resolving mechanical and technical issues.
* Ability to work effectively in a workshop and field service environment.
* Relevant trade qualifications in diesel mechanics or a similar field, along with appropriate certifications.
* Experience working with construction equipment or heavy machinery is highly advantageous.
* Commitment to workplace safety standards and protocols.
