HR Services Manager – Pacific (Maternity Cover) – Fixed-Term
Contract Type: Fixed-Term (December 2025 - September 2026)
Location: Adelaide, Australia (Pacific region)
We're seeking a capable and collaborative HR Services Manager - Pacific to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This role is ideal for someone with experience in HR operations, payroll, or business partnering and who's ready to lead a team and shape the way we deliver HR services across Australia and New Zealand.
Based in Adelaide, you'll lead the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and people-centred HR services, while implementing a pre-determined strategy.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead end-to-end delivery of HR services across payroll, operations, systems, and immigration
Ensure services are accurate, efficient, compliant, and aligned with local legislative requirements
Collaborate with HR and business leaders to meet evolving workforce and organisational needs
Support process improvement and system enhancements, with a focus on automation and self-service adoption
Provide clear leadership and coaching to the Pacific HR Services team
Foster a culture of continuous improvement
About You
We welcome applicants with diverse experience across HR, payroll, or operations. You may currently be in an HR operations or shared services role or working as an HR Business Partner or Payroll Manager looking to expand into broader HR leadership.
You'll bring
Experience in HR operations, HR partnering, or payroll, ideally within a mid-to-large organisation
Understanding of employment legislation in Australia (and ideally New Zealand)
Familiarity with HR systems and platforms (e.g. Oracle, ServiceNow)
Experience leading people or projects, or a readiness to step into a leadership role
Confidence working with stakeholders across functions, locations, and levels
An interest in improving systems, processes, and employee experiences
Experience working within a global or matrixed environment is valued but not essential
