The roleUndertake clinical trial therapy data checks for AVERT DOSE, and international clinical trial to determine the optimal dose of mobility training post stroke.Key ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will be responsible for:Working with the AVERT DOSE team to undertake trial therapy data quality checks and assurance audits of data received from approximately 50 international clinical centres. These checks are essential to maintain trial quality and to highlighting data deviations requiring action. The role will include the production of trial specific guidance notes, assist with training, identify issues, and contribute to project-based solutions.There is a responsibility for ensuring that trial research data is complete and accurate. and to ensure data management plans are followed and all validation checks are undertaken.You will need to use initiative to tackle any practical difficulties reported by clinical sites and problem solve with the greater central team as required. Site monitoring visits /training sessions (via videoconference) may be required.The position will work collegially with the trial team and contribute to the generation of high-quality publications, conference presentations, and other outputs.This position is a casual role attracting an hourly rate of $58.58 per hour.About you:The successful candidate will have:• At least a qualification in health science like Physiotherapy, Nursing or completion or substantial progress towards a completed PhD in health-related field• High level computing skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, REDCap systemExperience with the below is desirable, but not essential:• Experience in health care, palliative care and/or implementation science.• Demonstrated research experience in terms of publications in high quality journals, and presentations at a national and/or international level.• Demonstrated experience in contributing to delivering project targets on time and within budget.• Demonstrated ability in planning and executing data collection, analysis, and storage.• Demonstrated experience contributing to collaborative and interdisciplinary research teamsHow to ApplyIf you feel this role is right for you, please apply with a Cover Letter outlining your interest and experience and your Resume.
