About the Role – South East Regional Hospital (Bega, Southern NSW LHD) Position Available: RN – Mental Health (Inpatient and/or Community)

Service Context: South East Regional Hospital is a key regional facility offering comprehensive services. The Mental Health team provides recovery-oriented care across acute inpatient and community settings.
Location: Bega, NSW South Coast — minutes from pristine beaches, surrounded by national parks, and approx. 2.5 hours to Canberra.
Key Duties
* Comprehensive mental health assessment, risk formulation, care planning, and therapeutic engagement.
* Safe medication administration (including depots) and physical health monitoring.
* De‐escalation and behavioural support using least‐restrictive practice.
* Discharge planning and community follow‐up within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Requirements
1. AHPRA registration essential.
2. For PR sponsorship: ANMAC completed with correct ANZSCO code.
Required Code: ANZSCO 254422 Registered Nurse (Mental Health)
3. SID 482 or WHV pathways: ANMAC not required (AHPRA and Mental Health experience essential).
