About Facility
Our Aegis Shoalwater Facility is situated in the suburb of Shoalwater which is nestled between Warnbro Sound and Shoalwater Bay, with Penguin Island close by. Aegis Shoalwater is a modern and well-equipped Aged Care Facility that supports the care and lifestyle needs of 169 residents.
About the Role
The role offers an opportunity to provide high quality, evidence-based Physiotherapy services. As a Physiotherapist with Aegis, no two days will look the same You will benefit from a diverse caseload that allows you to apply a broad range of your core skills, including but not limited to assessing, monitoring, and making recommendations in relation to:
Falls, prevention, trending, analysis, management, and post-fall review.
Musculoskeletal, assessment and management.
Evidence-based pain management (acute and chronic).
Mobility.
Exercise prescription (Physitrack subscription available).
Functional retraining and rehabilitation.
Equipment provision.
Promote health and education around Cardiovascular and Respiratory rehabilitation.
Continence, bowel, and pelvic health.
Positioning.
Manuel tasks and transfers.
Oedema Management.
Advocate for Residents through supporting choice and mitigating risk processes.
Training and Education.
Quality monitoring practices and continuous improvement.
To excel at this role, you will be supported by a team of Senior Clinicians with the opportunity to participate in peer support activities. Ensuring opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Essential requirements
Physiotherapy qualification and AHPRA registration.
Have full Australian working rights and be able to pass national police clearance.
Possess a valid Driver's Licence.
