A Clinical Leader, Not Just a Clinician
We aren't looking for someone to simply fill a roster; we are seeking a Clinical Leader to head this new specialist service. This is a true 'Greenfield Site,' offering you the unique opportunity to shape a service from the ground up and integrate it into our multidisciplinary care models.
The Role
Your responsibilities as our OT will include, but won't be limited to:
* Holistic Goal Setting:
Delivering clinical input aimed at maximising clients' independence, functional capacity, and overall quality of life.
* Comprehensive Clinical Assessments:
Evaluating ergonomic capacity and limitations alongside cognition and decision-making capacity regarding activities of daily living.
* Environmental Analysis:
Conducting extensive home environment assessments to identify barriers to safety and reablement.
* Home Modifications:
Facilitating minor and major modifications, including the coordination of external agencies and contractors.
* Assistive Technology:
Recommending and trialling assistive technology to support long-term independence.
* Operational Leadership:
Managing the flow of internal and external referrals to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
