About the role
As our sole in-house Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting the Group across a wide range of legal and governance matters. You will work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team, providing practical, commercially focused legal advice across all areas of the business.
Key responsibilities
* Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts across our operations
* Develop and maintain standard terms, supplier agreements and procurement documentation
* Provide legal guidance on marketing, promotions and compliance matters
* Manage and advise on various property-related legal matters across the portfolio, including unique projects
* Manage and advise on corporate governance and regulatory matters, including Board support and advice
* Attend Board meetings and contribute to governance processes
About you
* Qualified Lawyer with 5+ years' PQE
* Experience in commercial law, gained in private practice or in-house
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build trusted relationships
* Commercially minded with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
* Confident working autonomously and comfortable in a standalone role
