**What You Will Be Doing**
We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible Grade 2 Allied Health assistant, to work in the Allied Health Outreach Team with our Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologist, Physiotherapists, Carpenter and our clients on a full time, fixed term basis. 
You will work with clients to carry out exercise programs, practice a set of functional skills such as mobility scooter training, and set up aids and equipment, as directed by a therapist. You will be working with clients from various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, in a variety of settings including the home, supported accommodation, and the community. You will provide administrative support to therapists, such as making follow up phone calls, sending letters and maintaining forms and resources supply. You will be responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of trial equipment and aids, and for the preparation of the Minor Modifications Service.
**About our Allied Health Outreach Team**
The Allied Health Outreach Team is a Home and Community Care (HACC) and Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) funded service providing care to clients across the beautiful Frankston and Mornington Peninsula Local Government Areas. The team is integrated across 4 Community Health Centre's on the Peninsula. We provide a caring, supportive and energetic team environment to assist staff with developing their skillset and their personal development. Our team vision is "Working together with people in the community, to enhance their independence and wellbeing at home". In particular, we dedicate time to orientate new staff, teach new processes, and provide individual support to staff. 
We partner with the local City Councils, Monash University Peninsula Campus, and external industry partners to deliver services to clients and to develop and complete innovative projects. 
We are supportive of flexible work arrangements such as varying start/finish times, days worked and working from home. There is flexibility to work out of any of our community health sites in order to meet the needs of our staff and clients.
