Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Manager to lead and manage our heritage projects and services. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful implementation and management of initiatives that align with our mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of heritage projects and services.
* Develop and maintain key relationships with stakeholders, from the resource sector, government bodies, NGOs, and community groups.
* Manage departmental budgets, revenue and growth.
* Lead a team of dedicated people to achieve a greater level of commercial service delivery.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practice.
* Identify and pursue new opportunities for growth and development within the heritage service sector.
Selection Criteria
Essentials
* Qualification/s in business administration, leadership and/or management
* Proven track record of managing team growth and meeting revenue targets
* Minimum of 5 years supervisory/managerial experience
* Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills
* Proven ability to manage a diverse team (including remote staff and consultants)
Desirable
* Qualifications in heritage and/or finance
* Previous experience in a heritage services role
* Previous experience working in or with native title groups

We offer
* Salary ranges from $130,000per annum depending on skills/experience, + superannuation.
* Salary packaging (up to $15,899 a year, + meal/entertainment benefit of $2,650 a year).
* 5 weeks annual leave per year + 17.5% leave loading
* Christmas shut down period credited as additional leave.
* LSL vested after 7 years of service.
