Expression of Interest The Cathedral School invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and registered teachers for inclusion in our pool of Casual Relief Teachers for primary year levels. Position Overview: Casual Relief Teachers play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of teaching and learning in the absence of regular classroom teachers. You’ll deliver engaging lessons, foster a positive classroom environment, and support students’ academic and emotional development. Key Responsibilities: Deliver curriculum-aligned lessons across a range of primary year levels. Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement. Uphold school policies and procedures. Contribute positively to the school community. Essential Criteria: Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers. Recognised teaching qualification suitable for primary education. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Desirable Attributes: Recent classroom teaching experience.
