The Team:
As a Food Services Officer working in the RHH Cafeteria, you'll be part of a dedicated team that plays a vital role in providing visitors and staff with nutritious meals and excellent service. The team collaborates to ensure the safe preparation and handling of food, combined with high-quality service, with a strong focus on hygiene, efficiency, and teamwork.
The Role:
This position is based in the RHH Cafeteria. You will be responsible for general food preparation, service, and cash handling duties, providing service to staff and visitors in a healthcare setting.
You'll work as part of a collaborative team, maintaining food safety protocols, operating kitchen equipment, and contributing to a clean and efficient food service environment.
You will need:
* Knowledge of safe food handling and hygiene practices
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Good communication and customer service skills

Details of appointment:
Multiple fixed-term casual positions, working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible, until 28 September 2026.
*Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $57,130 to $62,486 per annum (Pro-rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with the Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.

You'll have access to salary packaging benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
