Our Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for ensuring all invoice and credit processing is completed in an accurate and timely manner and compliance with internal controls are adhered to for all financial processing activities. This role will form strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver an exceptional service to our customers.
We are seeking a highly organised, capable, and proficient AP professional with an open and curious mindset to join us during our Agile journey.
What you'll be doing
- Process invoices / credits via nominated system in an accurate manner within expected service level agreements.
- Resolve any errors or issues immediately and develop controls to mitigate repeat scenarios.
- Maintain all processes ensuring audit compliance.
- Handle stakeholder complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the KPI's, and follow up to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction.
About you:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills is a must
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
- While prior AP experience is not required, a proactive attitude and willingness to learn are essential
- Exposure to working in an agile, fast-paced environment is highly regarded
- Handles high volumes of work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and quality
