We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of medium-sized projects or manage significant workstreams within a broader program. As a Delivery Manager, you will play a critical role in leading the successful delivery of complex digital projects. You will work closely with product owners, technical leads, designers, developers, and client stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, on scope, and to a high standard of quality. You will be comfortable running Agile and Scrum teams, managing delivery risks, facilitating ceremonies, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Experience delivering projects within the Australian Government environment is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
* Leading end-to-end delivery of digital projects across the full SDLC in an Agile environment
* Managing and supporting Agile delivery teams, including Scrum Masters, developers, designers, and testers
* Facilitating Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
* Working closely with Product Owners to manage backlogs, priorities, and delivery outcomes
* Ensuring delivery aligns with agreed scope, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations
* Proactively managing delivery risks, dependencies, and issues
* Maintaining clear and transparent communication with clients and internal stakeholders
* Contributing to delivery governance artefacts such as delivery plans, RAID logs, and status reporting
* Supporting continuous improvement across delivery practices, tools, and ways of working
* Championing strong team culture, collaboration, and high performance
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience delivering digital projects using Agile and Scrum methodologies
* Strong experience managing cross-functional delivery teams
* Proven ability to engage confidently with clients and senior stakeholders
* Experience delivering web, platform, or digital experience projects
* Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
* Experience working in consulting or agency environments (highly regarded)
* Experience delivering projects for Australian Government clients (desirable but not mandatory)
* Relevant certifications (e.g. Scrum Master, AgilePM, SAFe, PRINCE2 Agile) are desirable but not essential
