Calling all Industrial Electricians for a 6-8-week project with possible extension from Monday to Friday hours

HAYS has partnered with a 100% Australian-owned company that specialises in industrial machine safety, control and electrification as an automation and control system provider.
Welcoming them into Brisbane with their new facility located in Mansfield, Queensland 4122, who are now needing two industrial electricians to assist with their growing work load in their recent project.
Your new role
Through a 6-8 week project, you will be responsible for assisting in a team environment with installation and assembly of control components, where your duties will include but not limited to:
- Panel assembly which includes mounting of industrial components
- Reading and following electrical wiring diagrams and plans with precision
- Assemble and wire data racks whilst managing the associated cabling systems
- Utilise advanced metalworking skills to mark, cut and install panel-mounted devices which include push buttons, display meters, switches and handles, indicator lamps etc.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience as an industrial electrician
- Relevant trade qualification in Electrotechnology or similar
- Experience and knowledge of automation control systems and wiring of PLC's, VSD's/DC drives, motor control circuits (3 phase), HMI and meter wiring and installation, earthing systems, shielding concepts & wiring systems and looming skills
- Reliable transport and valid driver's licence
- Confident and competent in hands-on skills
