About the Role
You are invited to lead a mission-critical class. In this fast-paced role, you will oversee the management of all activities, operations, maintenance, engineering, supply, issues, risks and requirements for the assigned class.
Your key responsibilities will include leadership in a dynamic environment, providing direction to the in-region team, working with other senior managers and discipline leads regarding resource availability and competency to deliver outcomes effectively.
You will be responsible for leading the Class to deliver against performance, technical, cost, schedule and quality requirements, supporting financial management, driving Integrated Master Schedule management and identifying risks, issues and opportunities for improvement.
The ideal candidate will have experience in asset management standards, managing diverse teams, developing interpersonal and communication skills and implementing project management methodologies.

* Work with other team leads, senior managers, and discipline/functional leads regarding overall resource availability and competency to deliver outcomes most effectively and efficiently
* Lead the Class to deliver against the performance to technical, cost, schedule, and quality requirements
* Support the financial management of the class
* Drive the management and maintenance of an Integrated Master Schedule for all Class related activities
* Identify and manage Class risks, issues, and continuous improvement
Requirements
In order to succeed in this role, you will need:
* A tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience) in a technical discipline
* Experience in project management methodologies, including scope, schedule and risk management, proposal development, financial and commercial aspects
* Previous experience in naval sustainment programs (highly desirable)
* Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security clearance as needed
