Ready to kickstart your OT career somewhere that actually gets what support looks like?
At Kids at Play Therapy Services, we believe therapy should be playful, purposeful, and people-first — for kids and the clinicians who support them. We've refined our onboarding program in direct response to what early career OTs told us they need — structure, support, flexibility, and a whole lot of heart.
If you're a new grad or early career OT looking to build strong foundations (without the overwhelm), we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Love (Because We've Been Listening to What New Grads Want)
Structured Onboarding & Clinical Supervision

* A 12-month learning journey with mapped goals
* 1:1 Weekly supervision/mentoring with internal and external OTs
Supportive, Connected Team Culture
You'll join a tight-knit, multidisciplinary team who remember what it's like to be new.
* Weekly team check-ins
* A friendly, open-door vibe (with no silly questions)
* Admin who have your back, and mentors who actually make time for you

We don't just talk about PD — we fund it, protect the time for it, and make it fun.
* Dedicated PD budget
* Paid study leave
* Internal PD series tailored to paediatric practice
* Cross-disciplinary learning from in-house SLPs, Psychs, Physios & Dietitians

Because your well-being matters as much as your clinical skillset.
* Choose hours that work for you (full-time, part-time, school-friendly)
* Admin support so you can focus on clinical work
* Realistic expectations — we grow caseloads slowly and with care
* Schedules are designed around individual clinicians, accommodating early starts or late finishes, or a 9-day fortnight. Anything is possible.

* Neuro-affirming, family-centred, and play-based
* Opportunities to find your niche or try a bit of everything
