Academic Opportunity in Gravitational Wave Physics
The University of Queensland invites applications for a research-focused academic to contribute to testing fundamental physics with gravitational waves, including cosmology and gravitational wave theory.
OzGrav is a leading centre for gravitational wave science, with a strong focus on outreach, diversity in science, and research translation. The centre offers a flexible research environment, access to generous resources and travel support, and participation in large-scale projects.
* Establish a research program, collaborate on research projects, seek funding, publish in reputable journals, utilize best practice methodologies, and participate in project discussions.
* Supervise students, provide feedback and training, resolve conflicts.
* Develop partnerships, demonstrate leadership through mentoring, engage in internal service roles and committees, engage in outreach activities, provide support to colleagues, and uphold university values.
