About this Locum Role
We are seeking a locum psychologist to support young people with mental health care in a trauma-informed framework.
This position involves flexible, home-based interventions that promote safety, stability, and meaningful recovery for young people aged 16–25.
Key responsibilities include engaging with clients therapeutically, conducting biopsychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, and consulting with external services.
* Provide home-based interventions to young people and their families/support networks.
* Monitor mental state, assess risk, and review response to treatment.
* Deliver brief interventions and psychoeducation tailored to developmental needs.
* Work collaboratively with families, schools, community agencies, and multidisciplinary team members.
