Currumbin Clinic is a 104-bed private mental health clinic located on the Southern Gold Coast, delivering high quality care and positive patient outcomes. We have a team of dedicated Psychiatrists, Medical, Nursing, Allied and Administrative staff who provide expert care in the management and treatment of all acute mental health disorders.
We are seeking several office all-round Administrators/Private Practice Medical Receptionists to work throughout multiple administrative departments within the clinic. Someone who is flexible, motivated, reliable, trustworthy, hardworking, and dedicated to contributing to a team environment working as a team player.
Essential experience:
* Administrative experience within a health care/medical setting
* Computer knowledge with Excel/Office/Outlook
* Knowledge of Medicare/DVA and health funds
Personal Attributes:
* Excellent communication & customer service skills
* Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
* Display and mentor professional behaviour
* High level organisational skills
* The ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment is a must
* Positive attitude and caring approach
* Ability to remain calm whilst working under pressure
Desirable Experience:
* Experience with WEBPASS, Blue Chip and Medical Director
Key Responsibilities:
* The administrator is responsible for ensuring that patient requests are processed in a timely manner, whilst providing excellent customer service
* File documentation management
* Answering phones.
* Respond to emails within a timely manner.
* Receive, locate and deliver charts within a timely manner as requested.
* Being sensitive with patient confidentiality and individual patient situations.
* Ensuring a high standard of care is provided to patients and staff.
* Data entry, error corrections, follow-up and quarterly extracts.
* Follow up incomplete documentation with the relevant staff.

Vaccination Preventable Disease:
It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment:
* Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
* Varicella (chicken pox)
* Pertussis (whooping cough), Diphtheria and Tetanus
* Hepatitis B
You must be able to provide serology evidence and a VPD form for the above-mentioned vaccinations and will be asked by the recruiting manager to supply this evidence if you are the preferred candidate for the role. Please note you are not susceptible to the VPD's listed in the role description.
