Support Veterinary Care Professional
We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused individual to join our team as a Support Veterinary Care Professional. In this role, you will work alongside experienced professionals to deliver exceptional care to patients.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of surgical areas and equipment, including preparation, theatre, autoclave room, and imaging rooms. You will also assist with patient restraint for procedures under supervision and contribute to the upkeep of hygiene and cleanliness within hospital treatment areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain surgical areas and equipment in a clean and hygienic condition
* Contribute to infection control protocols and industry standards
* Restock and maintain surgical areas to support efficient clinical operations
* Complete tasks on the Nurse Assistant Checklist and Infection Control Checklists in a timely manner
* Assist with patient restraint for procedures under supervision
About You:

You must demonstrate resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Requirements:
* Certificate II or III Animal Studies
* Prior experience in a veterinary setting an advantage
* Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Ability to complete physical requirements of the role
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
