Role Overview 
We are seeking a GIS Assistant Manager to join our growing GIS team. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring GIS data accuracy, system integrity, and supporting key business operations across multiple APAC markets. The role requires strong technical expertise, telecom industry knowledge, and a passion for building efficient, data-driven processes. 
Responsibilities 
- Define and execute GIS objectives and roadmap aligned with Network Operations goals. 
- Deliver on KPIs such as SLA compliance for sales maps, infrastructure requests, and design changes. 
- Manage and mentor the GIS team, allocating resources effectively across operations and projects. 
- Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of GIS systems (Esri ArcMap, ArcFM). 
- Implement data validation and audit processes, especially for as-built documentation. 
- Collaborate with Sales, Network Operations, and other teams to meet customer requirements. 
- Serve as main contact for vendors and regulators on GIS-related submissions and reporting. 
- Evaluate and implement new GIS tools to automate and enhance operations. 
- Lead planning and execution of system migration to utility network (ArcPro and ArcFM 11). 
Requirements 
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field. 
- Minimum 7 years’ GIS experience, including 2 years in a leadership role. 
- Experience in telecommunications or fiber networks strongly preferred. 
- Robust knowledge of Esri ArcMap and Schneider Electric ArcFM (ArcPro/ArcFM 11 a plus). 
- Proven ability to manage GIS data integrity, system migrations, and operational KPIs. 
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. 
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with ability to drive continuous improvement.
