Our client is a New South Wales Government-owned statutory corporation that is responsible for supplying the state's bulk water needs, operating the state's river systems and dams and the bulk water supply system for Greater Sydney and providing licensing and approval services to its customers and water resource information.
**_They are currently looking to engage a Lease Officer for a 12 month contract based at Parramatta and WFH._**
The purpose of this role is to maintain the lease database and administer lease-related payments. As well as undertaking a range of clerical tasks relating to WaterNSW lease obligations and general lease compliance for both leasehold and freehold agreements between WaterNSW and other stakeholders and put safety first.

- Maintain the lease/ licences/property database system and retrieve data from the property register to meet requests for information.
- Ensure that all leases and relevant documents are complete and filed in the records management system.
- Review various types of Lease Agreements to identify tenancy requirements and answer incoming tenant questions.
- Administration of grazing leases and licences including oversight of the Farm Management Plans
- Administer the end-to-end process of lease billing and reconciliations, including processing lease-related payments / issuing invoices (ensuring rents are paid on time).
- Ensure that invoices issued to tenants are accurate and safeguard WaterNSW funds against ineligible claims. Prepare and send rent increase letters to tenants.
- Allocate, reconcile and adjust rents and outgoings and process purchase orders for property related expenses. Manage disputes in respect of leasing costs and charges.
- Liaise with Accounts Department, Property Managers, Leasing Agents and other key stakeholders to resolve queries, issues and tenancy matters.
- Administer the request for licences for access to mining and explorations
**Qualifications**:
- Preference for a Real Estate Licence with ability to operate in NSW, or willingness to attain
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
**Knowledge**:
- Microsoft Office suite and in particular Excel (intermediate to advanced user)
- Commercial real estate background
**Experience**:
- At least 5 years in Commercial or Corporate Real Estate or similar workplace experience
