Overview

We are seeking motivated and compassionate Mental Health Clinicians to join our Community Mental Health Team in Port Lincoln, offering the opportunity to deliver meaningful care while developing professionally within a supportive regional health service.

By joining the Community Mental Health Team, you will have the opportunity to plan, implement and evaluate a comprehensive and integrated range of mental health services appropriate to the needs of consumers in the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN).

EFNLHN embraces strength-based approaches and the principles of positive psychology and aims to be a flourishing mental health service that impacts meaningfully and positively on the community it serves.

This position is based in Port Lincoln, within the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network. Key Responsibilities
* Provide proficient clinical nursing care and/or case management, ensuring care plans achieve safe and effective outcomes.
* Offer shift-by-shift clinical leadership, supporting patient flow, team coordination and continuity of care.
* Contribute to education, research, quality improvement and change management initiatives within the service.
* Support and guide students and less experienced staff, fostering a positive learning culture and professional development.
What We're Looking For
* Are you a Registered Nurse or Nurse/Midwife (or eligible for registration) with relevant mental health qualifications or enrolment in an approved mental health course, and a commitment to safe, high-quality practice?
* Do you have consolidated experience in mental health nursing and a strong commitment to delivering person-, family- and recovery-centred care?
* Are you confident working autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet timelines under minimal supervision?
* Do you demonstrate strong communication, leadership and problem‐solving skills, and enjoy supporting, guiding and mentoring students and less experienced staff?
* Are you culturally responsive, with experience working with Aboriginal consumers and communities, or a genuine willingness to build your cultural capability and undertake further training?
