We're looking for a precise, thoughtful carpenter who works best when they fully understand the task at hand, takes the time to get it right, and values a steady, supportive work environment. You'll work with a crew that respects your expertise, encourages careful planning, and recognises quality over speed.
Job tasks and responsibilities
* Detailed carpentry on homes, sheds, patios, and garages
* Careful refurbishment and structural modifications
* Working from clear plans and technical drawings
* Applying problem-solving in a methodical and considered way
Skills and experience
Required Attributes:
* Carpentry Trade Certificate
* Certificate III in Carpentry qualification is required
* WA Driver's Licence
* Construction White Card
* Working at Heights Certificate
* Ability to pass drug & alcohol screening
* Experience in construction with a reputation for being thorough and dependable
* Minimum 1-2 years of carpentry experience required
* Good with communication — especially listening, asking the right questions, and being considerate with feedback
* Focused on doing things right the first time — not rushing or guessing
* Reliable and able to work steadily without needing to be pushed
* Valid Australian work rights are required for this position
Desirable but not essential:
* Light Truck Licence
* Forklift, EWP, or other High-Risk Licences
* MSIC / ASIC / Police Clearance
* Experience in remote area work
* Familiarity with tablets, smartphones, and site logging tools
