Specialist Clinician Opportunity in Large Animal Surgery
The School of Veterinary Medicine, University College Dublin seeks to appoint a temporary Specialist Clinician in large animal surgery. This esteemed individual will join the Section of Equine Clinical Studies, Diagnostic Imaging and Anaesthesia, fostering an environment that supports innovation and collaboration.
The appointed specialist clinician will be part of a vibrant team consisting of 15 clinical academics/specialists including three large-animal surgery, four anaesthesia, four diagnostic imaging, one equine internal medicine and one equine reproduction specialists. Additionally, there are two staff members providing an ambulatory equine field service supported by interns (rotating), residents, ancillary staff as well as state-of-the-art equipment including CT scanners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform complex surgical procedures on large animals with expertise in multiple disciplines
* Collaborate with other veterinarians to diagnose issues using diagnostic imaging such as MRI ultrasound interventional radiology endoscopy arthroscopy laser technology fully equipped surgical suites rehabilitation physiotherapy
