The Opportunity
CE Group is expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced Scheduler/Planner to help drive the successful delivery of our growing portfolio of projects. Based in our Yatala office, this role plays a critical part in ensuring project success by providing strong planning, scheduling and project control support across complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Contract Administrators and delivery teams to maintain accurate schedules, monitor performance, and ensure projects stay on track from design through to commissioning. You’ll provide valuable insights into project progress, identify risks early, and help teams plan resources effectively to meet key milestones.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project
* Partnering with Project Managers and Contract Administrators to track progress against baseline programs
* Monitoring schedule performance, analysing variances, and providing insights to support risk mitigation
* Assisting with delay analysis and Extension of Time (EOT) claims
* Producing regular progress reports, dashboards, and Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting
* Developing resource-loaded schedules, supporting workforce planning, and forecasting labour requirements across project phases
* Working with project teams to plan crew structures, manning levels, and resource allocations to meet delivery milestones
* Collaborating across design, procurement, production, and commissioning teams to ensure coordinated project delivery
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of CE Group’s planning and scheduling processes
What you bring to CE Group

To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or equivalent industry experience
* Experience across the full project lifecycle, from design through to testing and commissioning
* Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
* 5+ years’ experience supporting complex, multi-disciplinary projects (ideally within industrial or electrical sectors)
* Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project
* Experience with Power BI (highly regarded)
* A strong foundation in project controls, systems, and performance reporting
* Demonstrated ability to engage and communicate across multiple business units
* A proven track record of accuracy, reliability, and productivity in planning functions
* Strong coordination capability across design, procurement, production, and commissioning activities
