Role
As the
Application Architect
, you will report directly to the CIO; lead the design and optimisation of the organization's application architecture. You'll work closely with senior leadership, vendor and technical stakeholders to define future-state designs that improve efficiency, data integrity, integrations and analytics capability. You will be working with modern platforms including Salesforce, Digital Twin, Fabric, Power BI, UI path.
Key Responsibilities
Reviewing and refining the current application architecture and establishing clear systems of record
Leading solution design across applications, integrations, and data flows (upstream and downstream)
Aligning architecture to the digital roadmap and major program
Redesigning interfaces and improving integration patterns
Ensuring automation solutions (e.g., UI Path) remain fit for purpose
Developing and embedding architecture standards, patterns and guardrails
Translating architecture concepts into business value through strong storytelling and stakeholder engagement
Supporting governance processes and promoting frameworks such as TOGAF
You will have
5+ years in Application Architecture across enterprise environments
Previous telecommunications background highly advantageous
Strong experience across solution design, data flows and integration patterns
Mandatory experience with Salesforce data modelling
Exposure to technologies such as JDE, Salesforce, Sitetracker, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, UI path.
Broad understanding of cloud platforms, APIs, integration frameworks and modern architecture approaches
Strong documentation capability, including structured design artefacts
Experience engaging senior stakeholders, vendors and multidisciplinary delivery teams
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language
Practical knowledge and application of architecture frameworks (ideally TOGAF)
