**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Perishable Sales Manager is the key driver in the continued development and success of Perishable product, you will need to possess and be able to demonstrate an understanding of Perishables, obtain new customers and maintain existing customers.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To obtain new customers and maintain existing customers as per the sales target
- Maintain strong relationships
- Design and implement sales plans to assist with company growth
- Work with the regional contract logistics organisation to develop account strategies with specific objectives and action items
- Grow project pipeline by prospecting, identifying and evaluating new opportunities.
- Remain current in market trends, technology, and best practices to ensure relevance when engaging with prospective customer's
- Take the lead in contract negotiations in order to achieve a mutually beneficial contractual term
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Making of presentations and quotations
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- Year 12 or equivalent
- General Freight forwarding knowledge / experience
- A strong Perishable background
- A valid drivers licence
**HIGHLY DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL**
- Experience in international freight forwarding industry
- Sales background
