About the Role
As a Cardiac Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating and providing safe, efficient and effective evidenced-based nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
You will also supervise, direct and mentor junior staff members, facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous quality improvement, and collaborate with medical professionals to achieve beneficial outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and provide safe, efficient and effective evidenced-based nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
* Supervise, direct and mentor junior staff members to develop their skills and confidence.
* Facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous quality improvement and best practice in patient care.
* Collaborate with medical professionals to achieve beneficial outcomes for patients and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A current registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant health authority.
* Prior nursing experience in a cardiac setting or surgical cardiac experience, with a desire to learn and develop your skills.
* Experience with angiography procedures and ability to establish professional relations with internal and external stakeholders.
* An ability to communicate effectively to influence results and commit to enabling a culture of continuous improvement.
