Melbourne Based
6-Month Contract

Talenza has been engaged by a leading organisation to source a Business Analyst for a 6-month contract to support business transformation and Agile delivery programs. This role will work closely with Product Owners and delivery teams, playing a key role in refining business requirements, writing user stories, and supporting end-to-end Agile delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to work on business-critical initiatives and collaborate with a high-performing team.

Talenza has been engaged by a leading organisation to source a Business Analyst for a 6-month contract to support business transformation and Agile delivery programs. This role will work closely with Product Owners and delivery teams, playing a key role in refining business requirements, writing user stories, and supporting end-to-end Agile delivery.

About You:
* Experienced Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Agile delivery practices.
* Skilled in running user story refinement workshops using Design Thinking and Human-Centred Design (HCD) approaches.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, engaging confidently across business and technical teams.
* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Comfortable working in Agile, Hybrid, or SDLC environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate user story refinement workshops to gather and define business requirements.
* Write clear, actionable Agile user stories with BDD acceptance criteria for development teams.
* Elaborate business rules, processes, and solution designs in partnership with key stakeholders.
* Collaborate closely with teams to ensure backlog readiness and prioritisation.
* Support delivery teams by clarifying requirements and ensuring alignment to business outcomes.
* Ensure smooth handover of requirements to development teams for efficient build cycles.
* Contribute to MVP slicing and iterative delivery planning.
Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in business analysis across transformation or digital delivery projects.
* Strong expertise in user story writing, backlog refinement, and business rule elaboration.
* Demonstrated experience collaborating closely with agile teams.
* Ability to convert complex business needs into actionable deliverables for technical teams.
* Experience managing multiple workstreams or projects concurrently.
