About the Role:
As an Accountant at PTC Phone Tech & Comm, you will be the cornerstone of financial accuracy and transparency, crucial for our thriving Mobile & Tech industry. Your role involves simplifying complex financial processes and reports while ensuring the utmost honesty and collaboration. You'll work closely with your finance team to maintain trust by handling sensitive financial data confidentially. With a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, attention to detail, proficiency in accounting software, and strong Excel skills, you'll excel in our supportive work environment. Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
* Financial Management: Assist the company's financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in creating and maintaining financial budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
* Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and manage tax filings.
* Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to provide insights for decision-making and strategic planning.
* Audit Support: Assist in preparing for and coordinating financial audits.
* Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements in financial and accounting processes.
To Be Successful for This Role, You Will Have:
* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* CPA or CA certification (highly preferred)
* Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a retail or related industry.
* Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
