What's the role?
We are looking for an experiencedMaintenance& Compliance Leadto join the well-established Qube team in Port Hedland. The primary role of the Diesel Mechanic is to undertake fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of company vehicles and machinery safely and efficiently. A suitable candidate will have excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work under pressure and independently.

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:
* Suitable Trade Qualification or Certification
* Must have minimum 1 years' qualified industry experience
* Demonstrated working experience with heavy vehicles & heavy machinery (Kenworth, Volvo & Mack Prime Movers, end-tippers, Tankers, flat top trailers, Cats, Cummins etc.)
* National Police Clearance (within 6 months validity) – or ability to obtain one
* Good mechanical aptitude
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
* Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment, with a proactive approach to task resolution to maintain a high quality of work
* Strong analytical thinker with an ability to make concise and compelling decisions
* Ability to maintain accurate records of work completed
