If you’re someone who leads with empathy and values meaningful work, this could be the role for you. Richmond Fellowship Queensland (RFQ) is recruiting two Casual Support Worker's based in Ipswich. You’ll join our NDIS Core Supports team, supporting participants living with a mental health diagnosis to stay connected, build skills, and live the life they choose. Whether it’s getting out into the community, building routines at home, or working towards goals—your support will help create real progress.Your Support will include:
* Supporting participants with practical daily living tasks and planned rostered supports
* Building independence through consistent, strengths-based support
* Assisting participants to attend appointments and meaningful activities with confidence
* Completing records and updating Line Supervisors to maintain safe, quality supports
You will need:
* A Diploma in a human services related field; or Certificate IV in Mental Health or equivalent and demonstrated experience working with people with mental illness.
* A positive attitude towards those who are marginalised and disadvantaged living with mental health challenges.
* Ability to work flexibly and well within a team.
* A strong sense of professional boundaries and integrity.
* Valid drivers’ license and access to a registered roadworthy and insured vehicle (minimum third-party property).
* Access to a smart phone to be used for work purposes.
* Availability to work on the weekend.
* Effective communication skills.
