We currently have an exciting contract opportunity available for a Security Advisor to join a major Australian financial services organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing appropriate advice, guidance and support to delivery teams and business stakeholder on all aspects of cyber security at Suncorp.
* Supporting the Cyber Security Consulting Team in reviewing and assessing technology systems through architecture and design reviews, security control assessments and security threat modelling activities.
* Sampling existing security architectures, designs and controls assessments to ensure that asbuilt production systems are compliant with baseline security controls.
* Collaborating with internal customers and key stakeholders to drive good security practices across the group and provide expert security advice to teams in support of remediation activities for security issues and vulnerabilities.
About You
* Minimum of three years of security experience across a broad range of security disciplines within an enterprise environment
* Recent experience of security design/architectural reviews in a complex IT and business environment
* Demonstrated understanding of common security vulnerabilities and issues facing technology systems, mobile platforms and digital channels
* Demonstrated understanding and ability to perform security threat modelling and the identification of security controls to address security design gaps and vulnerabilities
* Demonstrated ability to review security designs and architectures against baseline security controls and standards
* 3+ years of experience in information security, risk management or assurance
* 5+ years of experience in an IT operational, security operations, support or customer service role
* 5+ years of Previous experience of working within an IT team in a financial services institution
