We’re looking for a National Operations Manager who’s as passionate about people, quality, and process as we are.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a dynamic, logistics-heavy, high-performance environment. You'll lead day-to-day operations across our Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane studios, bringing structure, energy, and excellence to our frontline teams.
Your focus? Building and empowering a team that consistently delivers premium products—on time, beautifully made, and with love.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Leadership & Team Management
1. Lead and inspire a distributed team of florists, assistants, drivers, & customer care staff
2. Support and guide local Team Leads in each studio
3. Conduct regular site visits to ensure alignment and support
Talent & Culture
1. Attract, select, and retain first-class talent across all operational roles
2. Cultivate a high-performance culture grounded in engagement, accountability, and joy at work
3. Coach and develop individuals to continuously improve in their roles
Operational Excellence
1. Drive consistency and excellence in daily production quality and delivery standards
2. Implement and refine repeatable, scalable processes across all locations
3. Collaborate with the Managing Director to execute the company's operational strategy
4. Identify and unlock opportunities for efficiency gains in production workflows
5. Monitor key metrics including production speed, error rates, and delivery timeliness
6. Improve the unit economics of our operations by getting the best from every hour and every team member
Training & Communication
1. Ensure all team members are properly trained, confident, and set up to succeed
2. Establish clear, transparent, and frequent communication channels between teams and HQ
3. Lead with clarity—setting expectations and following through with action

Qualifications & Experience
1. Proven experience in a senior operations or multi-site leadership role (retail, logistics, hospitality, or creative industries preferred)
2. A strong track record of managing teams of 15+ in fast-paced environments
3. Demonstrated ability to build efficient processes and lead cultural transformation
4. Experience hiring, training, and retaining frontline or creative staff
5. Melbourne-based or willing to relocate; must be willing to travel regularly to Sydney and Brisbane
