Details: The City Renewal Authority (City Renewal) is charged with shaping the growth of the central parts of Canberra to make it a great place to live, explore and enjoy.
In partnership with the community, City Renewal aims to create an active city heart through the delivery of design-led, people-focussed urban renewal.
The role involves managing the delivery of public realm infrastructure projects, with responsibility for construction, contract and procurement activities.
Under limited direction, the position will:
* Represent City Renewal in providing advice on procurement, contract management, project development, and infrastructure delivery.
* Liaise and negotiate with directorates, contractors, consultants and public stakeholders to support the delivery of the infrastructure projects.
* Manage project performance by monitoring time, cost, quality, and outputs.
* Prepare Project Status Reports, briefs and provide advice to senior management, the executive team, and other government directorates.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
Hold a relevant professional qualification or accreditation with a professional body recognised within Australia; or
Hold a relevant building degree; or
Have significant building or infrastructure knowledge and/or project management experience, in managing large-scale projects and making significant decisions impacting the organisation.
