Infrastructure Condition Assessment Expert
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil and Pipeline/Water Engineer to join our Engineering Solutions team, supporting the delivery of civil investigations and condition assessments for water and wastewater infrastructure across the state.
This role involves providing technical support across all general civil and pipeline engineering matters, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to resolving complex site issues. You will influence and contribute expertise across the corporation, working on site to investigate and resolve problems and processes.

* Support the review and continuous improvement of technical standards and guidelines for civil and pipeline infrastructure.
* Evaluate and recommend new and emerging technologies where business benefits are identified.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders ensuring effective communication with engineering teams, project managers, vendors and contractors.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Tertiary qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Proven experience in civil engineering within the water or wastewater sector, particularly in pipeline and infrastructure condition assessment and rehabilitation.
* Demonstrated capability in executing novel, complex, and critical engineering investigations and designs in the civil (and pipelines) engineering discipline.
* A high-level understanding of corrosion and material durability considerations, complemented by practical knowledge of pipeline structural integrity and support systems.
* Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to resolving complex site issues.
* Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia (EA) or in the process of obtaining chartership with EA is desirable.
