Grand Group Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Guard to join our team at a prestigious and professional site. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent communication skills, and is dedicated to maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
* Follow all site‑specific SOPs, policies, and legislative requirements
* Conduct regular patrols, and incident reviews
* Provide professional and customer-focused service at all times
* Support Centre Management and liaise with emergency services when required
* Respond to incidents promptly and prepare accurate, detailed reports
* Monitor access control, CCTV monitoring, and alarm systems
Essential Criteria:
* Current QLD Security Licence (1A minimum)
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Professional appearance and demeanour
* Proven ability to lead a team and manage high-pressure situations
* First Aid & CPR (current)
* Strong understanding of WHS practices and emergency response
* High attention to detail and proactive attitude
Desirable:
* Experience in a retail, commercial, corporate or government environment
* Experience with incident reporting systems
