Job Title
The Director, Audit Risk and Safety leads the strategic direction and delivery of Infrastructure NSW's risk management framework and corporate governance arrangements.
* Manages the agency's governance, risk, compliance, and safety functions to ensure high standards of integrity, accountability, and performance.
* Supports the Executive in upholding risk-based, ethical decision making through expert governance advice and analytical support.
* Maintains an accurate and up-to-date view of key risks and ensures timely implementation of improvements that strengthen risk management and organisational performance.
* Supports and enables the Audit and Risk Committee in providing independent oversight that strengthens INSW's integrity, enhances strategic risk management, and supports external accountability obligations.
Requirements:
* Professional Certification of Certified Practicing Risk Manager (CPRM) from Risk Management Institute of Australasia (RMIA) or Member of Governance Institute of Australia (e.g. AGIA or FGIA).
* Extensive experience at a senior/executive level managing enterprise risk and safety, including experience managing an internal audit program, implementing risk management frameworks, governance frameworks, compliance, and assurance functions.
* Deep knowledge of ISO 31000 and relevant legislation.
* Proven ability to influence, lead change, and foster a culture of integrity and accountability.
