Part Time Registered Nurse | Young
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in Young, working across AM and PM shifts. This is your chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older Australians while growing your career in a supportive and values-driven environment.
What you'll do:
* Carry out the initial and on-going assessment, planning and management of nursing care for
residents
* Develop personal care plans that ensure the individual needs of residents are identified and met, and be aware of changes in care plans
* Ensure completion and accuracy of all ACFI claims
* On arrival, complete communication and handover
* Check whether assessments have been done over the weekends, or the day before
* Medication rounds, including schedule 8 round
* Communicate appropriately with residents while working with them
* Registered Nurse (Division 1) with general AHPRA registration
* Minimum 1-year experience as an RN within Aged Care
* Ability to set and maintain high standards in the provision of quality care and support services
* Ability to provide quality care and support to frail aged people
* Sound understanding of relevant State and Commonwealth legislation as it applies to Aged Care Providers
* Availability to work a variety of shifts including morning, afternoon, night, and weekend shifts
* Understanding of ANACC, including assessments, documentation, and funding submissions
