About the role
- Provide professional and efficient Telecommunications services to both internal and external clients
- Contact staff as needed for emergency codes, on call arrangements and security assistance
- Operate switchboard systems such as Alcatel OmniVista, DECT phones, emergency phones
- Provide 24/7 service through working a rotational roster
- Perform routine clerical duties and training as necessary or as directed by the manager
About you
- Manage all telecommunications procedures including emergency codes and maintain thorough knowledge of these procedures.
- Monitor communications equipment including Outlook, Fire Alarm mimic panel, Duress Alarm monitor and respond to activated alarms according to procedure.
- Provide initial fault resolution for telephones and pagers including issuing temporary hardware to replace faulty units and providing training if required.
- Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Ability to effectively use or quickly acquire ability to use Alcatel 4059, HBICS, EDIS, Amcom Messenger
