About the role
This is a permanent full‑time position (Monday to Friday 38 hours per week) based at our Armidale site. Part‑time hours may be considered for the right candidate.
* Deliver empathetic high‑quality customer service to individuals from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds.
* Manage and mentor a caseload of Participants supporting their progression through tailored plans and goal setting.
* Build strong relationships with employers and community stakeholders to create placement and support opportunities.
* Coordinate activities and referrals aligned with Participants' goals including training, education and non‑vocational support.
* Provide personalised post‑placement support to Participants and employers ensuring sustainable outcomes.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with BEST and departmental guidelines, policies and privacy principles.
* Commit to continuous improvement and professional development contributing to a safe and high‑performing workplace.
About you
* Youre a self‑motivated and resilient individual with a positive attitude and strong people skills.
* Youre passionate about helping others achieve their goals and thrive in a community‑focused role.
* Previous experience in customer service administration or client support is valued but not essential.
* Class C Drivers Licence.
* Clear National Criminal History Check.
* Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
