About The Role
The Finance Coordinator coordinates the delivery of the prison's financial support services in accordance with the Financial Management Act 2006 and departmental policies and procedures. Responsibilities include the preparation and reporting on the prison's budget, providing financial analysis, supporting the Business Manager in the management of procurement processes and assets, and operating and maintaining financial and asset management systems, processes and controls.
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or significant relevant experience, knowledge, and skills are desirable.
Eligibility
To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.

* Research, analytical and problem solving skills, preparing, monitoring and analysing budgets and assets. Reporting on financial performance. Interpreting, translating, developing, and applying financial, procurement and asset management data.
