About Project Ceres

Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, implementing cutting-edge production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, while providing sustained benefits to the local community through career, training, and business opportunities.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Training Coordinator to join the Project Ceres Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all recruitment activities required for all phases of the project and ensuring a solid understanding of the project's recruitment needs.

Main Responsibilities

1. Provide safety leadership to deliver a project free from incidents, injuries, and environmental harm by ensuring compliance with all aspects of the project HSE Management System and participating in the development and delivery of the project Incident and Injury Free program.
2. Develop and implement a project-specific training plan, including learning and development programs.
3. Develop, implement, and maintain training systems, facilitating new starter inductions, site orientations, material and standards, ensuring data integrity for all phases of the Project.
4. Schedule and book internal and external training activities and events for the project.
5. Assist department managers/superintendents with the development and review of Training Needs Analysis and coordinate training programs to achieve compliance with statutory and company/contract requirements.
6. Verify assessment records, tickets, licenses, and qualifications, ensuring all documentation is accurately recorded and maintained in accordance with statutory and company/contract requirements.
7. Identify and develop VOC (Verification of Competency) requirements for the project, including inductions.
8. Maintain and update the Training Matrix and related databases.
9. Recommend, coordinate, and audit suitable external training providers as required.
10. Participate in the management of subcontractor audits and ongoing communication.
11. Assist with identifying and recording required welding competencies for the project.
12. Identify potential issues and provide resolutions to training-related matters.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

1. Highly developed communication skills to motivate, inspire, and persuade.
2. A customer-focused approach through timely advice and assistance and proactive stakeholder engagement.
3. Demonstrated leadership capability.
4. At least 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar generalist role.
5. Demonstrated experience with training management, record-keeping, and reporting.
6. Demonstrated onsite or project experience.
