As a Senior Structural Modeller, you'll have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills across a vast range of small and large project and industry types, with responsibilities including:
Responsibilities
* Providing subject matter expertise in relation to Building Information Modelling (BIM) software, such as Revit, Navisworks, Ravizto, and ACC Model Sharing
* Leading Modelling design and delivery for large scale projects requiring multiple dependent views and package grouping (ie. data centres, skyscrapers, defence projects)
* Leading Modelling design and quantity calculations of various materials (ie. projects including complex steel structure, complex precast panels, timber structures and detailing, modular construction, steel tonnage, concrete volume)
* Delivering BIM execution plans and drawings according to client and internal requirements
* Attending 3D clash detection meetings and problem‐solving sessions with a range of internal and external consultants
* Developing enhanced systems and methods for drafting approaches such as notes/parameters for 3D elements
* Delegating Modelling works to team members according to internal resource planning and client requirements
* Monitoring and reporting on industry developments and trends
* Designing and delivering BIM and industry related training programmes
* Attending external seminars, industry forums and events
* Reviewing internal Modelling processes and procedures to recommend and drive improvements
* Contributing to Engineering design discussions and suggesting alternative design approaches for Engineers to consider
* Attending site inspections from time to time with internal Engineering team members
