We are seeking an experienced and professional Medical Receptionist role to join our dedicated team at our Gardens Skin Cancer Centre on a Part‑Time basis. The position requires 3‑4 days per week, our operating times are Monday – Friday and candidates must be available to work between the times of 8am – 6:00pm.
Key Responsibilities
* Warmly greeting and assisting patients
* Scheduling appointments and pro‑actively coordinating the appointment book
* Accurate data entry of patient information
* Processing payments
* Managing phone and email queries
* Assisting in tidying up consult rooms
Qualifications & Attributes
* Previous experience in an administrative/reception role within the Healthcare industry or similar is essential
* Previous experience with medical practice software, such as Best Practice will be highly regarded
* Customer‑focused with a commitment to patient care
* A strong team player who contributes to a positive work culture
* Approachable, reliable and dependable
* Excellent communication skills, professional presentation and positive can‑do attitude
* Sensitive in your approach when dealing with patients
* Authorised to work in Australia
