We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced sales professional to join our team as an Energy & Resources Account Executive.
About the Role:
This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires navigating complex sales cycles, leveraging internal resources, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Navigate a geographic territory focused on the Energy & Resources industry
* Leverage internal resources within the larger sales organization
* Work cross-functionally with the Customer Success (Professional Services) team and externally across customer and partner ecosystems
* Develop strong relationships within the industries, including with key partners
* Align customer goals and KPIs to the Appian value proposition
* Serve as a trusted advisor to both customers and colleagues
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends to position against competitors
* Operate with urgency, diligence, and determination within a collaborative and supportive environment
Requirements:
* 10 - 15+ years of direct selling experience
* Minimum of 5 years Energy & Resources experience as an Enterprise Account Executive
* History of consistent quota achievement
* Examples of landing relevant new customer logos
* Strong industry network within customer and partner base
* Strong job tenure: history of displaying loyalty and perseverance through long, stable job tenure and positive career trajectory
