We're seeking a Process Improvement Specialist to join our team.
About the Role
Our integrated operations, including port facilities, ensure we supply high-quality products to our customers on time. Our Cape Lambert and Dampier ports operate as a single system, blending products and managing shipping operations to deliver reliable and consistent results.
Main Responsibilities
* Foster and promote a positive safety culture across all activities
* Promote safety awareness and compliance among colleagues
* Evaluate continuous improvement opportunities using best practices (MOC, Project Management, CI, Lean principles)
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive performance outcomes
* Provide technical support to maintenance teams
* Perform laboratory testing and optimization for fixed plant equipment
* Align project plans with production targets
* Analyze deviations and recommend solutions
* Maintain adherence to ISO standards in port operations
* Prepare and report monthly performance metrics, including mass and water balances, CFR, and reconciliation
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP (or similar software)
* Excellent numerical analysis and data validation skills
* Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy or Process Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
