Kilfoy Cabinets & Cairns Flat Packs is seeking an experienced and motivated Kitchen Designer / Sales Consultant to join our team in Cairns on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established, reputable cabinetry company in the beautiful tropical region of Far North Queensland.
We offer a competitive salary package of $75,000 – $85,000 + commission, negotiable based on experience.
About the Opportunity
This role is ideal for a driven professional who is passionate about design, enjoys working closely with clients, and takes pride in delivering high-quality cabinetry solutions.
You will guide clients through the entire journey — from initial concept and design through to quoting, final documentation and production-ready drawings. Combining creative flair with technical precision, you will ensure designs are both aesthetically appealing and practical to manufacture. Working closely with our production team and suppliers, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding results while maintaining the strong reputation of both Kilfoy Cabinets and Cairns Flat Packs.

About the Role
You will work directly with clients, guiding them through the design process from concept to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
* Designing kitchens and cabinetry to suit client needs and budgets
* Preparing accurate quotes and detailed drawings
* Producing final drawings for customer sign-off
* Preparing documentation for the Production Team
* Using design software (Cabinet Vision highly regarded)
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales and design process
* Maintain strong product knowledge and stay up to date with the latest materials and trends
* Liaise closely with suppliers to ensure the best product options are offered
* Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure smooth project delivery
About You
* Experience in kitchen and cabinetry design
* Strong sales ability and excellent communication skills
* Proficient in design software (Cabinet Vision highly regarded)
* Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Experience with JobMan management software (highly regarded)
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Passionate about quality design and customer satisfaction
