Peel Health Campus is currently seeking a Clinical Nurse - Discharge Coordinator to join our team in the Allied Health department.

This is a recruitment pool for Permanent Full Time / Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time / Part Time and Casual appointments with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency.

A Permanent Part-Time vacancy at 45.6 hours per fortnight (0.6 FTE) is available to be filled immediately. Hours may be negotiable. Job share may be considered.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team. You will provide clinical and professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence-based nursing care is delivered to patients. You will also facilitate and promote patient safety and quality of care. The Clinical Nurse will practice within the scope of practice considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board’s Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.

Peel Health Campus is a general hospital located in the City of Mandurah, 75 km south of Perth on the doorstep of the south-west, known for its stunning beaches, internationally signficant wetlands, and some of Australia's most specatacular waterways for boating, fishing and wildlife. It originally opened in 1988 as the 32-bed Mandurah District Hospital, and now operates with 206 licenced beds, bays and treatment areas.

This role also commits to undertake the duties of the role in accordance with the WA Health Code of Conduct, the South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) Vision of Excellent health care, every time, and Values of Care (Kaaradj), Integrity (Ngwidam), Respect (Kaaratji), Excellence (Beli-beli) and Teamwork (Yaka-dadjoo).
